Why does wide text take so much space?+
Full-width characters are literally twice the width of normal Latin letters. Two or three words is usually the limit before it wraps.
Is spaced text still searchable?+
Partly. The characters are unchanged, but the added spaces break the words apart, so an exact search for the original word will not match.
