About Lora
Lora is a contemporary serif built for reading on screens, with roots in calligraphy showing in its brushed, slightly curved stroke endings. Cyreal designed it to carry the texture of a text face without the fragility that older revivals bring to low resolutions.
It reads well at body sizes — moderate contrast, generous x-height, sturdy serifs that survive hinting — while retaining enough personality to work as a headline face too. That dual capability makes it a practical choice for blogs, long-form editorial and documentation where you want one serif doing both jobs.
It ships here with a full weight range and a true italic, which is worth knowing: the italic is drawn, not slanted, so emphasis inside a paragraph looks correct rather than mechanically skewed.
