Text Decorator

406 ways to frame your words in symbols, borders and rules. Your letters are never swapped out — the decoration is added around them, so the text stays exactly what you typed.

Want the letters themselves restyled? Use the font generator — or pick a base font below and get both at once.

Questions

What is a text decorator?+

It adds symbols around your words instead of changing the letters. Your text stays exactly as you typed it — searchable, readable by screen readers, and identical when someone copies it back out — while stars, frames and rules do the decorating.

How is this different from the font generator?+

The generator substitutes each letter for a Unicode lookalike, so A becomes 𝐀. This tool leaves A as A and puts symbols around it. You can use both at once: pick a base font here and the decoration is applied on top of the substituted letters.

Will decorated text work on Instagram, TikTok and Discord?+

Yes. These are ordinary Unicode symbols, so they paste into bios, captions, usernames and messages the same way any punctuation mark does.

Why do some symbols show as empty boxes?+

A box means the device has no glyph for that character, not that the text is broken. It is most common on older phones and on a handful of gaming clients. If you see one, pick a plainer decoration — stars, hearts and dots are the safest.

Can games reject decorated names?+

Many do. Games commonly restrict usernames to letters and digits, and the rules differ per title. Test the decorated name in the client before committing to it.

Why does my decorated text look cluttered?+

Decorations add characters around what you type, so length multiplies fast. A short name framed with stars reads as deliberate; a full sentence in the same frame reads as noise. Start with one or two words.

Do decorations count against character limits?+

Yes, every symbol counts. Letter mode is the most expensive — it roughly doubles the length of each word — so it is worth checking against the limit before you paste into a bio.
