About Poppins

Poppins is a geometric sans built on genuinely circular forms and a near-uniform stroke weight, with no optical corrections to soften the geometry. Indian Type Foundry drew it alongside a matching Devanagari, which is unusual and makes it a practical choice for multilingual work.

The monolinear construction gives it a clean, modern, slightly neutral feel that has made it ubiquitous in startup branding, app interfaces and presentation decks over the last decade. It has a tall x-height and open counters, so it stays legible at interface sizes despite the geometric skeleton.

It ships here with the full range — eighteen files, nine weights with matching italics — which is what makes it genuinely useful rather than just fashionable. You can build an entire hierarchy from this one family.
