About Nanum Pen Script

Nanum Pen Script is the handwriting member of Naver's Nanum family, drawn by Sandoll Communications and Fontrix. It looks like quick notes written with a fine pen — light, slightly slanted strokes with a casual, personal rhythm.

It is ideal for diary-style posts, captions, greeting cards, notes and anything that should feel written by a person rather than a machine.

It is narrow and light, so set it a little larger than other Korean fonts to read comfortably. Keep it to short text, and pair it with Nanum Gothic for longer passages.

Licence

Nanum Pen Script is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use in personal and commercial work. Read the licence before redistributing the files or selling them on.

Korean text.
Korean fonts are large because every syllable is a separate glyph. On a website, subset the font to the characters you use, and mark the text lang="ko".
