About Itim

Itim is an informal Thai and Latin handwriting face from Cadson Demak. Its Thai is looped and its Latin semi-serif, and both look written with a felt-tip — friendly and relaxed.

OpenType features, first developed with Pablo Impallari, recreate the variety of real handwriting, and two stylistic sets offer alternate letterforms.

Use it for children's content, café menus, greeting cards, social posts and casual headings. It is a single weight; for long text, pair it with Sarabun.

Licence

Itim is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use in personal and commercial work. Read the licence before redistributing the files or selling them on.

Installing it

Windows.
Right-click the downloaded file and choose Install, or drop it into Settings → Personalisation → Fonts.
macOS.
Double-click the file and press Install Font in Font Book.
On the web.
Self-host the WOFF2 and declare it with an @font-face rule rather than linking to this page.
Thai text.
Thai needs a text engine that stacks vowels and tone marks; Word and current browsers handle it. Mark web text lang="th" so lines break at Thai word boundaries.
