About Hind
Hind is a Devanagari and Latin sans from the Indian Type Foundry, designed specifically for user interfaces. Its strokes look monolinear and end in flat cuts, which keeps the counters clear and the texture calm at small sizes.
The two scripts are scaled to each other — the Devanagari headline sits just below the Latin capitals — so Hindi and English mix without one looking oversized. It comes in five weights from Light to Bold.
Use it for apps, websites and documents in Hindi, Marathi or Nepali. It belongs to a larger Hind system with matching families for Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu and more, so a multilingual Indian product can stay in one design.
