About Black Han Sans

Black Han Sans is a heavy Korean headline face from Zess Type, developed from ZBLACK Original with reworked spacing and more unified heights and widths. It emphasises square, blocky shapes, so every syllable lands as a strong, solid block.

It is made for titles, thumbnails, posters, banners and bold branding — anywhere Korean text needs impact.

It covers about 2,580 of the most-used Hangul syllables rather than all 11,172, which is plenty for headlines but can miss rare syllables in names. Keep it for display, and use a text face such as Nanum Gothic for paragraphs.

Korean text.
Korean fonts are large because every syllable is a separate glyph. On a website, subset the font to the characters you use, and mark the text lang="ko".
