About Sacramento

Sacramento is a monoline connecting script — the strokes stay an almost constant weight throughout, with none of the thick-to-thin modulation of pointed-pen calligraphy. Astigmatic drew it in the tradition of mid-century sign lettering and casual retro penmanship.

That even weight is what distinguishes it from faces like Great Vibes. It stays legible at smaller sizes than most scripts, holds its colour on a page, and reads as relaxed rather than ceremonial — which suits cafe branding, casual invitations, packaging and signature-style logotypes.

It still needs room to connect properly. Set it in lowercase, give it a generous size, and avoid tight line spacing since the ascenders and descenders are long.
