About PT Serif
PT Serif is the second family of ParaType's Public Types of the Russian Federation project, and the companion to PT Sans. It is a transitional serif with humanist terminals, designed to pair with the sans and to read well in long Russian texts.
Like PT Sans it covers Russian and the title languages of the Federation as well as Western and Central European Latin, so it handles multilingual books and documents gracefully.
With regular, italic, bold and bold italic, it is a complete text family. Use it for books, articles and reports in Cyrillic, and switch to PT Sans for headings or interface text.
Licence
PT Serif is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use in personal and commercial work. Read the licence before redistributing the files or selling them on.
Installing it
- Windows.
- Right-click the downloaded file and choose Install, or drop it into Settings → Personalisation → Fonts.
- macOS.
- Double-click the file and press Install Font in Font Book.
- On the web.
- Self-host the WOFF2 and declare it with an
@font-facerule rather than linking to this page.
