Pacifico

Pacifico is a brush script drawn in the spirit of 1950s American surf culture — thick, rounded strokes with a relaxed forward lean, the kind of lettering painted on a woody wagon or a beachfront sign. Vernon Adams drew the original, later extended by Jacques Le Bailly and others.

The warmth is what gets it used: cafe and juice bar branding, summer event flyers, food packaging, greeting cards. The strokes are heavy enough to hold up in a logo lockup, and the connecting lowercase gives short phrases a continuous, hand-painted flow.

It is a display face and a fairly loud one. Two or three words at a generous size is the sweet spot; a paragraph of it is unreadable, and it should never be set in all caps.
