About Didact Gothic

Didact Gothic is a sans-serif drawn to show each letter in the form children learn in elementary school — simple strokes, nothing to decode. Daniel Johnson designed it for literacy work, and Alexei Vanyashin at Cyreal revised the whole font in 2017.

That plainness makes it ideal for children's books, worksheets, flashcards and learning apps, and it covers Cyrillic and Greek as well as Latin.

It is a single weight, so pair it with a bolder face for headings. Its clarity also suits signage and accessibility-minded materials, where unambiguous letters matter more than style.
