About Dela Gothic One
Dela Gothic One is a flat, extremely heavy Japanese gothic. Its strokes are thick and squared off and its counters pushed to the minimum, so every character lands as a solid black shape.
That stability and weight make it ideal for posters, packaging, game titles, manga-style headings and anything that has to be read from across a room.
It is a single weight and strictly for display. Keep it large and short, and add a little letter spacing at smaller sizes, where the dense shapes can start to fill in.
